Mandatory physical bootcamp on Jul 5, then a 6-hour DevOps hackathon on Jul 19. Release engineers ship pre-built features through GitHub Actions to dedicated cloud VPS nodes. No SSH, no greenfield builds.

WHAT
IS DEPLOY SPRINT?
Deploy Sprint is co-engineered by the Knurdz and Leo student tech communities, exclusively for undergraduate students at the University of Moratuwa. After a mandatory physical bootcamp, finalists compete in a 6-hour on-campus DevOps hackathon. The virtual qualifier determines who reaches the finale, where everyone acts as release engineers, integrating pre-built features into live cloud VPS nodes via GitHub Actions.
Register Jun 6 – Jul 3, 2026, attend the bootcamp, pass the qualifier, then compete Jul 19 on campus. Teams deploy through pull requests and automated pipelines only. No SSH to servers. The prize pool includes LKR 50,000 (1st), LKR 30,000 (2nd), LKR 20,000 (3rd), medals, certificates, awards, a People's Choice most popular team honor, and membership opportunities with Knurdz & Leo.
